A Filter for blending 3D layers?
Hey All,
I’m looking for a means to do what “Compound Arithmetic” almost does. I’ve got some vector-based artwork, and want to keep it that way. At the same time, I want to texture the art by blending it with a raster-based texture file, ideally through the help of a filter I can copy/paste to all my layers. Now, “Compound Arithmetic” does just that, except in a 3D world the texture is not linked to the layer; rather, it’s as though you’re seeing a stationary texture through the art. The problem this raises is that when the camera moves in a 3D world, the layers move accordingly but the texture within remains stationary.
Short of pre-compositing every single layer with the textured file, is there a way to do what I’m trying to do? Hope this all makes sense and I appreciate the help. Thanks.
