And to follow up my last post regarding CC Snow, how can I edit my composition so that it can seamlessly loop? Or is this not doable using this effect?

You’ll have to cleverly crossfade between your layer. Duplicate the layer and extend the duplicate’s in point to 1 or 2 seconds before its current in point (this may be outside of the comp) then trim the duplicate at the in point of your original layer. Move this duplicate layer to the end of your original layer (so they share an out point) and crossfade between them. It’s not perfect but it works.

Also, note that you shouldn’t crossfade them equally in time. When two layers are both at 50% opacity and laying over each other their combined opacity is 75% not 100%. This is similar to the way that lighting gels work in the real world in that if a gel removes 50% of the light passing through it and you have 2 of the gels placed in front of a light then:

    1 * .5 * .5 = .25 or 25% of the original light passes through (25% transparent, 75% opaque).

Bottom line is there would be a noticeable drop in opacity if both layers are at 50% opacity at the same time.
