  Pause/STOP the playhead like in Vegas Pro

  I am quite new to FCP and have been using Vegas Pro for last 5 years. In Vegas, there is an option to either Stop or Pause the playhead with 2 different keys (normally Enter for Stop and Space for Pause). In FCP, if we press spacebar key, the playhead stops at its current position and I couldn’t find a key to make it stop where it started initially. It is really important for me because I don’t know how others do it but I can’t sync videos with audios without this feature. Please help!
