  View window no sound

  Having a weird FCP issue. Suddenly no sound will play in my viewer window. If I double click from the timeline – sound will play on that clip in the viewer but If I bring something in from folders or match frame a clip – no sound. Has anyone run into this before? If so please share any info.

  P.S. Just before this happened I was laying a gain effect to sound for a clip in the timeline.
