• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  About 1080p and Final Cut Express

  Hello,

  I’m a first-time poster and was directed here by a videographer friend. I myself am a competent amateur. I went to film school, but spent more time reading Andre Bazin than editing.

  OK, so I have Final Cut Express and am sitting on some footage shot on 1080p at 24fps. I’m wondering what the best option might be for this footage? Should I convert it to 720p? Can Express handle 1080p at 24fps? Any suggestions are greatly welcomed. Thank you!

  No idea, I’ve never used FCE, but, why don’t you just import the footage and see what happens?
