BDMV files back to FCP
Hi Boys and Girls. I made a blu ray home movie of last Christmas and as with most families, I ended up with multiple Christmas’s and I put them all on one home movie for our family. This week, I have had requests to send a movie to each parties host. I don’t want to send them our Christmas morning or how much fun we had at one inlaw and not so much the other. Can I take the BDMV file and somehow get it back into FCP so I can delete out the un needed party scene and still have the beginning and ends intact.

If you have the H264 or MPEG-2 files, you may try to cut them on a time-line with the same setting.
Might work.
