  • Difference between the codecs motion jpeg A and B

I’ve been editing a series of jpegs in a sequence. Nothing more that that.

Can anyone tell the difference. I mean, explain the difference between the codecs ‘motion jpeg A’ and ‘motion jpeg B’
I’ve read something about ‘with markers’ and ‘without markers’, but can anyone tell what this means?

A second question. Is there a better codec to use for my sequence when editing a series of jpegs (slideshow), so progressive footage only.

    Thanks

MJEP A&B are legacy codecs. They are not even an option for exporting with the late QT versions.
    Try Prores.
