    Hi All

I am editing a video that is 1 hour 40min. It was shot HDV and interlaced. I now want to create a SD dvd, I have always gone through compressor and then into dvd studio pro. In compressor I use the deinterlacing filter and the 120min dvd settings. I need the footage to fit onto one disc so I have had to set the average bit rate to about 4.5 mpbs. The dvd looks great on my tv but absolutely terrible on my laptop.

What must I do to get better quality, but still on one disc? Or is the only option to put it onto 2 discs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

a 100 min. video is doable for one disc, one side.
Don’t deinterlace, why would you do that?
    DVD loves interlace.
Only deinterlace you “i” footage when making a webclip.
Start with the 120 min. preset in compressor.
