    Hi all,

FCP7 won’t recognize the files I shot at true 24P with the Canon C300. I have downloaded the plugin already and it works fine with 23:98 files. But when I try to Log and Transfer the 24:00P files, the clips won’t display (they appear grey) and a message in the viewer says “Clips recorded using the following configuration cannot be used in this environment: 50MBs CBR 1920*1080 24:00P”

I don’t know what I am doing wrong.
    Thanks for your help.

I believe the plugin was made for the XF cameras which do not shoot 24.00. It works with the C300 as they use the same codecs and card structure, but perhaps it only works at frame rates the XF cameras support?

If you have Adobe CS drop the MXF files into Media Encoder and transcode to ProRes, then import into Final Cut. I’m pretty sure timecode comes along for the ride.
