    Hi all,

I pulled in some old pre 1997 footage encoded on dvd footage into FCP 6 using ISkysoft DVD ripper (FCP preset). Files imported have the following properties: H.264, 1280X720, 25fps, with a data rate of 1.2 MB/S. Final file was compiled and exported as QT for laptop playback. I am getting a lot of jagged edges on movement shots.

I am assuming it is an progressive/interlaced issue, but have run into a dead end trying to fix the issue. Suggestions would be appreciated.

You have to convert it to Prores LT for editon. H.264 is a delivery format not an editing one.
