  Do Not Enter Sign on bootup

  I’m running FCP 7 on an Intel G5. This morning when I booted up I got the Apple logo which then turned into a “do not enter” sign(circle with a diagonal line through it). That’s as far as it gets. Anyone ever seen this before? I haven’t but I’m guessing it isn’t good. Thanks.

  That symbol usually means some files have been deleted/corrupted or possibly moved that the Mac needs to boot.
