    Hello,

I am working with Canon Dslr footage Apple pro res 1920X 1080 in final cut pro

When I apply my magic bullet looks effect, this message comes up when I try to render it….

“The effect “looks” have failed to render: Your hardware cannot render at the requested size and depth”

I’m not sure what this means or if I need to upgrade to something? Please if you know the problem let me know

    I have an apple macbook pro… 2.4 Ghz Intel Core i5…Memory4GB 1067 MHz DDR3

    Intel HD Graphics
    Type: GPU
    Bus: Built-In
    VRAM (Total): 288 MB

Check you magic bullet settings, reduce the color bit depth if you can.
    I have not used it.

Thank you for responding. I Can’t change any of that with magic bullet. Is there any settings on Final cut maybe?

When I drop the video down to 720p it allows me to render it, but at 1080 it dosen’t

Your GPU is not enough to render the effect at that size.
