  PSD into FCP

  I know this has probably been discussed a million times, and I have looked into it… but, here’s my snag. I have a psd file, I’ve resaved it, added an alpha channel to it, and imported into FCP7. It imported as a sequence, and I’ve changed the sequence settings to match the sequence I’ll be working in. WHY oh why do I keep getting a red line to render it? Am I missing something?

  You will always have to render PSD files. Here is a tutorial on how to play clips with out rendering.
