  Importing photos to FCP be burnt to dvd what Timeline Settings?

  Hiya Guys, Need a bit of help.

  Fairly new to the whole editing thing and am working on a job which my boss wants me to produce a dvd of 50 photos that will be played in in France – each photo is an RGB file, 300dpi and needs to be 16:9.

  Could anyone help me on how to set up my timeline so theres no problems or help me with anything I will need to do? Timeline settings, Frame size, pixels etc….

  Are you planing to pan or zoom the pictures?

  Create a sequence:

  DV50 NTSC 720×480 Anamorphic
  (Although France is SECAM L)

  Open all your stills in Photoshop and change the dpi to 72
  If you’re creating moves on the stills you’ll want them around 1000-1500 along one side in size.

  If they are not getting any moves, Make then 720×480

  File types:

  png
  targa
  tiff
  psd

  use jpeg as a last resort.

  When the edit is done.

  Change the sequence settings to 10 bit Uncompressed.

  Export sequence using “Current Settings”
  Drop that file in to your compression program and create the DVD files.

  This really helps thankyou, Im actually from england so i wont b using ntsc it will be PAL. And yes i am planning moves on the stills.
