    Hi!

We have a question about installing Final Cut, and we’re hoping to get some advice! When we first installed FCP 6, we somehow didn’t install Compressor. We’ve been using FCP 6 on our current project for almost a year now, and now we’d like to install Compressor. Can we just install Compressor? Do we need to uninstall FCP and reinstall the whole package? If so, are there any problems that are likely to happen to our current project? Thank you for any advice you can offer!

Yup. Just run the installer – press custom and deselect all your template media (like the DVDSP/Motion Templates and Livetype fonts); install compressor. Then immediately run software update.
