Issues using Qmaster
My qmaster will not communicate on one of my G5 systems. It stays idle even when I am trying to use it for distributed processing. Also when I try to click on “Options for selected service” it is grayed out. I know this is a problem and have seen it on other posts, but none of the remedies I have seen for it seem to work for me. I only have one instance at the moment and I am assuming that has something to do with why this system is not working with distributed processing. I have tried re-installing Final Cut and nothing changed. I am at my wits end with this. Hope someone might be able to help me figure this one out. Any input is greatly appreciated.

yea i tried that and it didn’t do anything. i am having the issue on is running final cut 5 on leopard (10.5). i just finished re-installing leopard and i am about to re-install final cut. i am hoping this fixes things. if not i may try the compressor fix again. my system is a dual 2ghz G5 with 2.5gb of memory.
