• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  Final Cut not displaying on external monitor

  I’m running FCP 7 with AJA Kona Card, external JVC Deck and external JVC Monitor. When I’m editing I can not see the footage on the monitor. When I am logging and capturing I can see the footage. What am I doing wrong? Thanks So much for the help.

  Go to FCP’s View menu, under Video Playback choose your video setting. Then, in the View menu again, go to External Video and choose all frames. If that doesn’t do it, check your Cards Preferences in Apple> System Preferences> AJA Kona… which I can’t help with much because I’ve only used Matrox for this purpose.

  Thanks David,
  I tried your first instructions. That did not work. So then I went to Apple>System Preferences> but I don’t see AJA Kona?
