  Capture settings for DV

  When capturing footage into FCP record in SDI, and recorded onto a DVCam deck, what Capture setting should I use?
  I’ve been using 525i29.97 8 bit (720×486). But should I use 720p59.97 8 bit (1280×720) to capture it at the best setting? Or is that just creating a big file, with no improved quality? The final output is for the Web.

  You can’t capture w/ 720p preset from DV tape. BTW, if you want best quality use FW for DV capture instead of SDI.
