  • Reset Audio/Video Division on the Timeline

The grey “divider” slider on the right hand of the timeline/sequence window is the bane of my existence.

Inevitably, as I do audio work on a project, the audio/video track ratios get shifted, until I can only see one video track. and the then I can’t change back. The scroll arrows don’t function. Neither does the grey divider. I can make my audio track area larger, but not the video.

Is there anyway to reset the track layout? I tried trashing my preferences with no luck. Next step will be to copy the entire sequence to a new empty sequence.

Hopefully there is a basic command I don’t know about.

I figured it out. Grab and hold the center slider in the divider to pull the whole divider down. Very intuitive. God forbid I should use the edge the windows, or any part of UI that changes when I hover.
