  Non-linear upscaling from SD to HD?

  Anyone know of an AfterEffects plugin that does non-linear upscaling from SD to HD? We would like to upscale SD footage to HD, but slightly stretch the left and right portions of the frame so the middle frame isn’t quite so distorted or cropped.

  We’re using Red Giant’s “Instant HD” plugin, but it apparently doesn’t upscale non-linear.

  Some call it “non-linear stretching”. AE doesn’t do it, but this seems to do it:
