• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  Really Cool Effect, I just don’t know how…

  Dear CC Community

  A classmate recently showed me one of his projects which had a really cool (and apparently simple) effect in it. It was an action sequence and the one shot was in slow motion, but the previous frames were semi-visible (as if they were transparent). He said it had something to do with changing frame rates.

  Can you perhaps tell me how to do this?

  Stephen Smith has a tutorial on this “time slice” effect right in the COW tutorials section, I believe.

  For a more simple approach you may wan to play with the Echo filter.
