  Select All Tracks Tool Selecting All Clips But Not Allowing Pull Fwd or Back

  I’ve been delighted to have discovered the select track tool as it goes well with the way that I am editing. It’s been working like a charm today. But now I’ve gone to use it on this sequence and it does select to clips on the track in the direction that I want but then it will not allow me to pull or push them. No tracks are locked, toggles are not blackened (I’m not sure whether this would matter but just offer the info in case) What could I be doing wrong? I don’t think that I am doing anything differently than previously.

  I ‘ve now gone to other sequences and am having the same problem. So it is nothing specific to that sequence
