  “Slide Photo” Effect – Touch Phone Like Feature

  Hey there,

  I’m newbie around here and to the video editing subject.
  I started using FCP for a 2 month, and I use the internet and some other courses in order to learn the basics and the advantage video editing features.

  My (first in many I believe) first question is how to create an effect similar to the iphone/touch phones feature which is used in some videos lately. My main problem is to get around the name for this type of editing, and I tried google it in several ways and couldn’t get around. I’m not even sure it is have a connection with FCP, and if it’s not, than sorry in advanced.

  Anyway I don’t have a video to show so you could understand what I refer to, but I try to describe it:
  It is when a picture or an element in a video move like if the person was holding it and sliding it to the left or to the side of the movement – similar to the Iphone touch action when you scrolling trough picture or through apps.

  Hope I made myself as clear as possible,
  I hope I guessed right to post it under this sub-forum,
  and I’m also sorry for the long post :D.
