  Widescreen issues

  Hello,

  another really simple one from me!

  I am trying to apply a widescreen effect from the matte part of the effect menu to my edit-the problem is that some shots are behaving and some of them refuse to crop at all, no matter how many times I apply it onto the shot.

  I have Nattress and Sapphire installed as well if that is helpful.

  Can someone give me a list of things to check?

  Why not put a black solid over your video and crop that to make a bar across the top and bottom?

  I was just wondering if there was a reason why some shots don’t accept the widescreen?Any ideas?
