  highest quality compression for You Tube

  I’m trying to make the highest possible quality You Tube movie. I’m currently using the “Large Web Movie” setting in Compressor and wondering if there is a higher quality way to do it – maybe something directly from FCP instead of Compressor? I’m working with widescreen SD video in FCP.

  iMac 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB
  OS 10.6.2
  Final Cut Pro 7.0

  H.264 is the codec you should use, and assign your frame size from there.
