effect rendering pixalets the image in final cut
hi
I try to just put a little color correction on the images in the final cut, but once rendered it becomes too pixalated?what can i do? -

You didn’t say, but you must be working in a DV sequence, right?
You’re seeing the affects of compression with the DV codec. So, when you’re done editing, go to Sequence>>Settings, change the compressor to ProRes, and re-render the entire sequence. Bingo, your problems will be gone.

I have one more question, now there seems to be a problem with lines, like stipes everytime there is some movement in the shot? Do you know what i could do about it? -

I have a video footage that was shot on a mini DV tape , on Sony HDV camera. I captured the footage via the different normal DV Camera into the FInal cut pro 7. When I played out the footage straight from the MiniDV Camera onto TV it looks fine, but the captured footage looks terrible on final cut. what can i do, as I don’t have a chance to recapture it again.
