  Aspect Ratio

  Hi Guys

  I have a sequence setup as follows:

  Frame 720 x 576 (ccir 601/dv pal (5:4) )
  Pixel aspect: pal – ccir 601 (720 x 576)

  When i export a tiff sequence and import it back into fcp the following happens.
  the screen size changes to 768×576 and aspect is listed as square in the properties.
  when i pull it down to the timeline fcp fixes it by distorting the aspect ratio to: 6.67

  my concern is that if i send the tiff sequence to grade or telestream that the clip is going to be displayed wrong.

  any insight would be greatly appreciated.
