  iMac itself displays as external monitor in FCP

  Hi all!
  I’m just new to FCP as I got a iMac 27″,
  as I got another LCD monitor (viewsonic 24″),
  I tried to put that LCD to be my desktop through mini display port and iMac itself to be external
  monitor but no luck,
  is that possible? or it’s just a crazy thought?

  In system preferences under displays you can set the view sonic to be the primary screen. Doing this means that your dock menu bar etc etc will all the on the view sonic.

  Hindsight is always 1080p
