pleae help highlighting sections of timeline w/ in and out points
I feel like usually this works very easily, but now it doesn’t and is proving very annoying…
I have a sequence in the timeline w/ many video and audio tracks and edits. I want to highlight portions of this and copy to another sequence. I feel like usually I can mark in and out points on the timeline and cut and paste. All my auto select boxes are on and the weird thing is when I deselect all of them for the video tracks the audio tracks become highlighted and I can cut and paste them to another sequence, but when I toggle auto select on for all tracks, the timeline media clips stop being highlighted and I can’t copy/paste anything.
Am I missing something simple here?

it seems to work fine now. I did absolutely nothing and all of sudden it just worked. The only thing that changed is my belief in ghosts. Mod delete if possible?
