• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  All Text Pixelated in Final Cut Pro

  Hello,

  I am using FCP 5 on mac.

  I had an after effects project that I exported into FCP and the graphics maintained the crispness but the text because extremely pixelated. I then spent the next 4 hours investigating importing and exporting issues between AE and FCP to no solution. I then imported my logo in .psd into fcp and it became pixelated.

  Finally I tried entering text in FCP itself and it also became pixelated

  So I believe the issue lies in FCP and its hatred to anything that is text

  Please help me as I have searched the abyss of the internet to no solution

  Really? I wasn’t aware that FCP hates text. It’s been quite kind to text in all my projects here.

  I’m going to guess two things.

  One – your format is either DV or HDV.

  Two – you’re looking at the Canvas in the FCP interface instead of an external monitor.
