  input 24fps audio out of synch

  On n a DVX-100 I recorded footage at 24fps audio at 48kHz. When I input this footage into FCP 5.04 with a preset DV NTSC 48kHz-24. (frame size720x480. Editing Timebase 24fps. Audio Settings 16bit 48kHz) the audio is off about 16-19 frames.

  What am I doing wrong?

  I had a similar issue, not sure if it could be related, did you check the Frame Offset in System Settings under Playback Control. Once I set it to 0, all was fixed.

  Mine was only off by 4 frames though, sounds like this might be something else.
