  fcp trails in video

  I have trailing in my footage in fcp e.g woman is walking and as she walks she leaves behind zig zag lines.

  Why is this and please someone tel me what to do it;s really annoying!
  I even exported it to Qt and still see the trails!

  Sounds like you have got a problem with your field dominance. Some times if your footage is interlaced and your sequence field dominance is not set right the picture can get distorted.

  Go to Sequence>>>>Field Dominance and play around with the two settings.
