• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  new to final cut

  I am an Avid Editor fairly new to final cut. I am operating Final cut studio2 on a G5 specs : Mac ox 10.4.11 processor 1.8 GHz PowerPC G5 Memory 4GB internal drive 500g and external 500g.

  I was trying to use the color correction filter and when I went to adjust the whites and blacks nothing changed, I double clicked the clip on the timeline and it showed in the viewer adjusted again and nothing.
  Can somebody help me with this, And to add any filter I add to the clip when I go into the filters tab and adjust nothing again. I was told final cut was easier then Avid

  You have to drag the color button quite a way for anything to happen. Try holding down the Command key as you drag to gear up. Also make sure you’ve opened the clip with the filter into the viewer and have the playhead over the clip in the timeline, but I think you said you did that.

  Whatever you know best is probably the easiest.

  im still having issues with the color correction in that particular project which was shot at 720p 24p p2 card. Now i just digitize a tape shot on tape and was able to maneuver the colors. is there something in the settings? I need help
