compressor not creating video files only sound
Posted by Paul Bosch on February 19, 2009 at 5:23 pmFor some reason the compressor is not creating mpeg files only sound files, I have done this many times before , even with the same project.

February 20, 2009 at 1:33 pmI use dvd fastest encode 120 minutes(2 settings) or best quality 150 minutes it doesnt seem to matter where the destination is.
I have done this many times without a problem before and now it seems to only create a sound file, I always set the destination the same. -

February 25, 2009 at 11:58 amDid trashing the preferences work? I’m having the same problem. I have compressed multiple (about 10) files from Final Cut directly to Compressor. I choose “Best Quality 150 minutes” and submit it. The compression has worked for everything except my largest file. It looks like it compresses everything (it goes through over 20,000 frames) and takes 12 hours to do so, but then only the audio file shows up. I’ve tried it twice now. Any thoughts would be helpful!
