  Date/Time Stamp

  Tom – Is there a product that can be used that can assist me in acomplishing the task of getting the date/time code that is imbedded in the video to transfer to the editing software on the macintosh? We are an investigative agency that has recently converted to Mac for editing and need to have the original date and time stamp from the video move to the editing software during the “capture” process?

  I think there are apps like CatDV and iDive and I think MovieLogger that will do this. I don’t know if they can transfer the data to an editing application.
