  Outputting to DVCAM

  I have very little experience so please treat me gently. I have produced a film using Final Cut Studio and am submitting it for a film festival. They want it in DVCAM format and I have no idea how to do that. I have borrowed a Z1 for the evening and have some DV tape but after hours browsing the internet I am completely overwhelmed by the terminology. I really need some sort of idiot’s guide.
  The film was edited in DV Pal Anamorphic. I don’t know what I have to set up where to ensure that the tape ends up in DVCAM format. What format would it come out in if I select “print to tape”

  The sony’s are very menu heavy. You’ll need to find the Menu with the Record Format and set that to DVCAM.
