  Log and Transfer

  I am trying to use Log and Transfer in FCP 6.0.4 importing media from a Sony EX3 camera. When I try to add the directory Log and Transfer does nothing, after a few attempts including restarting it will finally spring into life. Am I missing something here, any ideas from anyone? I am running FCP on a MacBookPro 2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2GB Ram running Mac OSX 10.5.5

  Thanks for the reply. I installed all the software that came with the camera and updates from the web. Is there supposed to be a large delay between when log and transfer reads the directory with the clips and when they are displayed on screen?

  I use an EX1 and do things the same way you do. My system suffers no delay, but I’ve got a quad core MacPro so that might be the difference. Someone smarter than me might have the lowdown on whether the problem may be your laptop not keeping up.

  That’s my experience, anyway.
