  • Working with shake, then bringing back rendered footage into final cut pro

    Hey Guys,

This should hopefully be a quick and easy question.

I have keyed footage in final cut pro of a few clips that I want to key in shake and then bring that footage back into final cut pro. Now I know I could just load the clips in shake separately outside of FCP, key them and then output them, load them into FCP and sync the video to the audio back up (with the new keyed video that doesn’t contain any audio), but is there a better method to do this so that I don’t have to sync the audio back up every time?

Also what file format and codecs are FCP ready (when exporting out of shake)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
