  • Exporting high quality web video.

I recently created some video clips for a website, and the company has requested that I export them in either mpeg, mpeg-4, or avi. I have tried a few times to export them using quicktime conversion as mpeg-4 and avi but they come out entirely too grainy and pixelated. What setting should I be putting on them, or what am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Try exporting through Compressor as H.264 800Kbps. I’ve always had great results with that option. Low file size and very good quality. Experiment with a short clip first, then tweak the settings as you see fit. Compressor in general gives you much greater flexibility and control than exporting using QT.
    Cheers,
