  Setting up a routine?

  On some of my smaller projects i do a lot of editing while I shoot. I find that in post I end up wasting a lot of time setting IN and OUT points on each clip 15 frames on either side just so i can add transitions. is there a way to set up a routine so that i don’t have to manually do this to 10-20 clips in a row?

  No way to automate marking 15 frames from the edge…sorry. Editing is a lot of work, and takes a lot of time.

  If you shoot with a camera that captures to solid state, like the P2 or the EX2/3, you can “edit” while you shoot and only import the clips that you want to use. It will actually create individual movie files that you can import without having to set in/out points (as long as you import the entire clip).
