Editing Stills
Hi,
I’m trying to edit stills from my friend’s wedding, and I can’t seem to figure out the correct sequence settings. The size of the stills vary from 940×628 to 940×606 to 592×940 (and others). The end product will be both a quicktime that will be posted to a site and a DVD. I will be doing basic moves to these stills.
I was told that the sequence settings should be the same as the source settings in order for me to NOT have to render the files in the sequence, but this is not the case. The stills are square pixel PHOTO-JPEG compressions. The sequence that I have created is 720×540 with a square pixel aspect ratio and PHOTO-JPEG compressor at 100% quality. I’ve also tried a sequence at 720×480. So why is it that when I cut in the stills, I get a red bar asking me to render the sequence? My sequence settings match my source file settings. What sequence setting should I be using so that I do not have to render these files? Please help. Thanks,
Annie
