  SIDE-BY-SIDE video effect

  Does Express allow video from two different clips to be positioned side-by-side in the same frame?

  For example, I am creating an effect that features a rectangular, colored border with text over it at various locations. Within that border are two rectangular “boxes,” side-by-side, for two different video clips to be moving at normal speed simultaneously.

  No idea if Express has this feature and, if so, how to construct this effect.

  I believe Express can do basic scaling like Final Cut Pro.

  You simply scale down the video clips and position them side by side. You use the Motion Tab in the Viewer to do this.
