    Hello CreativeCOW forum:

After much investigating and getting things started I am still confused about photo sizes in FCP.

Thus far, to string my sequences I laid out what pics I would like to use.

Is their a way I can resize the photos to a proper 720×540 or whatever other video output anyone suggest in Final Cut Pro?

I know it is suggested to resize the pics in Photoshop, but I am using a lot of pics in the timeline.

I am at this phase in my project and would appreciate any all feedback. My project is picture intensive and important they look their best at output. Thanks.

If you are doing a LOT of photos in a video, you may want to look into a program called fotomagico. With fotomagico you can bust out a photo slide show in a fraction of a time you can in FCP because you don’t have to keyframe all your movement. You also don’t have to resize all your photos first. When finished you can export to any video format you wish.

There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.
Don’t let technology get in the way of your creativity!

May i STRONGLY suggest you take a look at the book Photoshop for Video from Focal Press (order it through the Cow Amazon store link).

You can also find tutorials on the book’s site and in iTunes

I’ve used Photo to Movie software for years and have been very happy. It’s very intuitive and you can learn it quickly. Plus, it’s cheap. I’m sure the pros like Photoshop, but I didn’t have the time to learn yet another program.
