• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  Need to print to tape using my AG-DV2500 Panasonic Deck but I can’t. Please help.

  Hi,
  I am having a bit of a problem today.

  I need to print to tape but each time I go to print in FCP the REC INH light flashes on on the deck. The save tab is not pushed in on the tape. I am using FCP Studio 2. I am attempting to print to a Panasonic Mini DV tape. So what the hell is my problem? Deck is an AG-DV2500 and the users manual does absolutely nothing for me.

  Is there something in my settings on FCP that is not right? or would it be the deck itself? Any help would be great.

  It sounds like the problem lies with your deck. Not FCP. Obviously you should try powering down your deck-maybe unplug it. Trying a different tape & rebooting the Mac.

  If it’s still a problem, try recording locally-play/record on the deck without FCP. If its it still be a problem, then it’s probably a bad sensor with the deck.
