  Hi

  I need to convert a series of quicktime movies (the longest being 45 mins/8GB) into a .avi for a client.

  I have tried exporting from both FCP and Quicktime Pro but only the shorter clips (10 mins max) are converting correctly, the long clips are taking the normal time to export but when I open the .avi that’s been created it stops after a few minutes, or has no image.

  Any ideas as to what’s going on would be greatly appreciated.
