    Hey there

Thanks for any help given heres my problem

I’m an Pro-tools/audio guy trying to help out my studio in the video dept, so my know how of these programs are a little alien to me.

I have 5 podcasts and i need to upload them to video sites (such as youtube, google, and others)when i put them from final cut to compressor i use the settings for wed streaming content and i know i can change the aspect there to 16×9 but youtube and others need(want) a 3×4 image at 320×280.

So really i need a 3×4 image at 320×280 with a 16×9 letterboxed video inside of it.

Is there way to do that in final cut or compressor or must i go to another program such as adobe after effects (which i am currently trying to do it there)after i already render/compress it out ?

    thanks

Thanks you Tom for you help.

I’ve gone with the after effects way and they seem to look good to me and the producer so thats great

thanks again for the link as well they gave me a good read as i was testing which way to compress out of final cut/compressor to get the best quality out for i had read something about what codec youtube uses but was confused on exactly what they did
