  Dropped Frames

  I’m running fcp 5 on Imac G5 (pre dual core) 1.5 RAM, 5OO GB external drive – Footage is Standard DV, mini-DV & HD. Why the dropped frames?

  A guess.

  Because the footage is captured to your boot drive.
