  uvw1800 and Final cut

  I am currently using Media 100 on a G4 to edit but my board that goes from the computer to the break out box fro different video foramt inputs died. I’ve been think of switching to Final Cut Pro for a while and now I’d need to invest at least $600 to stay with Media 100. MY problem is that I have hundreds of Beta-SP tapes that I use fequently in projects. Is there a way to use the UVW 1800 as a source deck for the Final Cut Pro?

  Yes.

  Use one of the AJA or Black Magic Design cards.
