  • how to achieve the best quality video for uploading?

I am not sure if this is the right forum…but I decided this one because I use AE 7. When uploading a video to a site like youtube or yahoo video, I see some clips that look crystal clear, where mine in the end look fuzzy. Now my avi prior to compressing to wmv is clear, I just wish my uploaded video had some of the same quality. Should I use a different means of compressing? Is there a compression tool that can shrink the size yet not mess the quality of the clip? HELP!

Aharon has a podcast and DVD on the subject. Click on his head/name above, in this forum. You should find the info.

COW had a good article on this a couple issues back. If you compress your vid with flash Before uploading to YouTube (they use flash video) it won’t be recompressed and look very good. Most of those video sites recompress your uploaded vid to match there display settings. Do it yourself and they’ll keep it that way.
