OT: NYC FC UG Meeting, Thurs 20 July, Apple SoHO, MXO, Motion, P2
The NYC FC UG July meeting is scheduled for Thurs, 20 July, 6:30 -8:30pm at the Apple Store, SoHO, 103 Prince St (@ Greene St) in the newly renovated theater. The NYC FC UG is a community of digital storytellers focused on the art and craft of the story well told. The meeting is open to the public, all are welcome but seating is on a first come, first serve basis. Please visit https://www.nycfcug.org for recent additions and changes.
Thursday’s presenters are:
Michael Vitti Tapeless Media Management in situ. How to sleep at night and improve your post production game too. Michael just wrapped DiT/assembly Edit on the Production of Blackout, a feature shot on multiple HVX200’s.
Don Gaile Contemporary Multiscreen Storytelling. From his most recent editorial project The Cat Experiment, Don will share the step by step process from start to final product.
Dan Maloney, Matrox Video Products. Dan will introduce the newest outboard gear to perk up the ears in while, the MXO box utilizes the DVI output of your computer to provide broadcast quality output and preview capabilities and a few other tricks.
Michael Vitti, Tips ‘n Tricks: Customizing your FCP Environment. Ever wanted to take your window views, button bars and customized keyboard layouts with you? Now you can and all on a pocket sized jump drive.
Don Gaile Logo Design in Motion. Don’s been using Motion for about as long as Kirk Paulsen and Dion Scoppettuolo have been. It’s one of those apps that can surprise you with it’s capabilities.
